New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston (wrist) is not listed on the team's injury report. The former first-overall pick sustained the injury during the Saints' final preseason game against Houston. He now figures to serve as the primary backup for starter Derek Carr. Third-string quarterback Jake Haener was hit with a six-game suspension earlier this week and Taysom Hill was recently designated as a quarterback instead of a tight end.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon announced on Monday that quarterback Joshua Dobbs will make another start under center in Week 2 against the New York Giants. Dobbs wasn't good at all in the season opener on Sunday in a 20-16 loss to the Washington Commanders, going 21-for-30 for 132 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. He carried the ball three times for a loss of three yards and also fumbled three times, losing two of them. It was just the 28-year-old's third NFL start, though, and it came against a pretty tough defense. Dobbs will have the opportunity to bounce back this weekend against a Giants D that just allowed 40 points to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night. Still, Dobbs should be viewed as only a desperation QB2 play in deep superflex leagues.
