Jonathan Taylor a Top-Three Fantasy RB in Week 5

Saturday, October 4, 10:55 AM

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor will look to continue a hot start to the season in a Week 5 home matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Taylor has already rushed for 414 yards and added 113 receiving yards while notching four all-purpose touchdowns through four games to start the year. The veteran running back should continue to dominate the Indy backfield in a matchup against a Raiders defense that is allowing the 26th-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. As one of the few true bell-cow backs in the league, treat Taylor as a top-three fantasy running back in Week 5 despite the difficult matchup.

Breece Hall News

Breece Hall a Strong Week 5 Play

Saturday, October 4, 1:37 PM

New York Jets running back Breece Hall is slated for a juicy matchup in Week 5 when his team takes on the Dallas Cowboys at home. The Iowa State alum got back in fantasy managers' good graces last weekend when he churned out 111 scrimmage yards following single-digit output the two weeks prior. Hall has yet to find the end zone in 2025, but he should see a few more goal-line carries with teammate Braelon Allen (knee) dealing with a significant MCL sprain. In fact, the 24-year-old should boast a modest increase in volume with Allen set to miss multiple months. Second-year pro Isaiah Davis will mix in behind Hall, but the latter figures to handle the lion's share of New York's backfield work moving forward. Dallas' defense is allowing the most yards per game to opponents, and Hall's dual-threat ability should keep him viable regardless of game script. He's RotoBaller's PPR RB8 for this weekend's matchup.
