Jordan Addison Brings Risk and Potential in Week 14

Friday, December 5, 3:32 PM

The Minnesota Vikings will take on the struggling defense of the Washington Commanders in Week 14, which brings both potential and risk for wide receiver Jordan Addison. Washington is allowing opposing offenses to score on nearly 49% of possessions, which is the worst mark in the league, but the Vikings have been the most hapless offense in the NFL over the past month. Minnesota scored 42 points in its past four games, including the franchise's first shutout loss in 18 years last week at Seattle. Despite playing more than 90% of the team's offensive snaps in every one of those four games, Addison has just 10 total catches to show for it. Addison is a talented receiver with a great matchup, but the Vikings have been so awful on offense recently that even their best players have disappointed in fantasy lineups. The setting is good enough this week to consider Addison for a flex spot, but he's a wild card due to Minnesota's volatility.

De'Von Achane News

De'Von Achane Is An Elite RB to Build Around

Friday, December 5, 6:54 PM

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane has been one of the top running backs in the NFL over the last few weeks, and he's a great play this week against the Jets. Achane has at least 120 rushing yards to power the Dolphins to three straight wins in his last three games against the Bills, Commanders, and Saints. He finished with 134 rushing yards and a touchdown last week against the Saints, and is averaging 86.2 rushing yards and 30.8 receiving yards per game on the season with 10 total touchdowns. The Jets have been the sixth-best matchup for running backs this season, and last week, the Falcons running backs totaled 162 rushing yards, 86 receiving yards, and two touchdowns against New York. In such a great matchup with plenty of momentum and a large expected workload, Achane is the No. 1 RB in the entire NFL in RotoBaller's Week 14 rankings.
