Josh Allen Could Feast in Week 4

Friday, September 26, 1:46 PM

After bouncing back in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is set up for success going into Sunday's home matchup versus the 0-3 New Orleans Saints. The reigning MVP will face a defense that has surrendered the seventh-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, even though the Saints haven't gone up against anyone in Allen's stratosphere. They've instead struggled against lesser signal-callers in Kyler Murray, Mac Jones, and Sam Darnold. Those three combined to complete 70.8 percent of passes with seven touchdown tosses, zero interceptions, and a lofty 118.9 QB rating. While Jones and Darnold don't scare anyone with their legs, the mobile Murray scampered for 38 yards on seven rushes against New Orleans. That's good news for Allen, an elite dual threat fantasy managers can confidently count on going into Week 4.

Aaron Rodgers Throws Two Touchdowns in Win Over Patriots

Wednesday, September 24, 12:51 AM

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 16 of 23 passes for 139 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 21-14 win over the Patriots. It was a low-play volume day for the Steeers, running only 49 plays to the Patriots' 71. Rodgers checked down to running back Jaylen Warren most often, leading the team with six targets. But he did find both top wide receiver options in D.K. Metcalf and Calvin Austin III for touchdowns. He's established a solid connection with Austin in the early going, and he could be a valuable piece for them to help generate explosive plays. The upside for Rodgers with the Pittsburgh offense is not interesting enough for fantasy purposes, and he is best left on the waiver wire in standard redraft leagues and viewed as a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues.
