The Washington Commanders are re-signing veteran wide receiver K.J. Osborn, according to team reporter John Keim. The 27-year-old was claimed off waivers by Washington in November following his release by the New England Patriots and appeared in one game for the Commanders. The 2020 fifth-round pick out of Miami by the Minnesota Vikings has collected 165 receptions for 1,902 yards and 16 touchdowns in 66 career games. Washington also re-signed wideout Noah Brown and traded for Pro Bowler Deebo Samuel Sr. this offseason, so it's tough to expect Osborn to have any fantasy value in 2025.

New England Patriots wide receiver Romeo Doubs remained absent from Thursday's practice, according to Taylor Kyles. Doubs also missed Wednesday's walkthrough, and the team has not given a reason for either absence. The 26-year-old joined New England after catching 55 passes for a career-high 724 yards and six touchdowns with Green Bay last season. His absence has opened first-team work for Efton Chism III, who filled in during Wednesday's session. With no injury or timetable reported, Doubs' status is worth tracking when the Patriots return to the field Friday.
