Ka'imi Fairbairn Making Significant Progress

Tuesday, November 28, 12:25 PM

Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn (quadriceps) is eligible to be activated from Injured Reserve after the Week 13 game against the Denver Broncos and he is making significant progress in his recovery from a strained quadriceps, according to sources. Houston waived fill-in kicker Matt Ammendola on Monday, but he's a possibility to rejoin the practice squad. Meanwhile, the team is working out veteran Brett Maher on Tuesday. When healthy, Fairbairn is the Texans' regular kicker. The 29-year-old is in his seventh year with the team and had made 18 of his 19 field-goal tries and all 14 of his extra-point opportunities this year in eight games played before injuring his quadriceps in the Week 9 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Cameron Dicker A Good Choice In Week 12 Lineups

Thursday, November 23, 12:24 AM

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker is a good fantasy option in Week 12 lineups for a game against the Baltimore Ravens. Dicker has missed just one field goal this season and has made all of his extra points so far. He's not a particularly high volume kicker most weeks due to the Chargers generally aggressive fourth down play calling, but he's extremely accurate which makes him a solid and consistent asset at one of the hardest positions to predict in fantasy football. He's a solid option in all formats that still feature a kicker on the roster.
