Kayshon Boutte Practices in a Limited Capacity on Thursday

Thursday, September 11, 4:47 PM

New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte (shoulder) was limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday due to a shoulder injury. Boutte was a popular waiver-wire add in fantasy this week after his breakout Week 1, where he recorded six catches for 103 yards against the Las Vegas Raiders. The 23-year-old has a chance to establish himself as a starting outside receiver for New England this season as long as this shoulder injury does not limit his availability or effectiveness. Boutte's practice status on Friday is worth monitoring, as he will probably enter the weekend with a questionable tag if he is unable to practice in full.

Rookie Jack Bech Strictly Depth Piece Behind Meyers for Now

Friday, September 5, 8:01 PM

Las Vegas Raiders rookie wide receiver Jack Bech opens his career in a reserve role, buried on the depth chart behind Jakobi Meyers, Dont'e Thornton Jr., and Tre Tucker. While the No. 58 overall pick carries long-term appeal, particularly as a potential down-the-road replacement for Meyers, his Week 1 outlook is limited. The Raiders' run-heavy approach and crowded receiver room leave little room for Bech to carve out immediate value. Dynasty managers should continue to stash him, as his skill set suggests eventual fantasy relevance. In redraft leagues, however, Bech is safe to drop in favor of players with clearer early-season opportunities.
