Kenny Pickett Hopes To Find Success Against Raiders

Friday, September 22, 5:01 PM

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett has struggled early in the 2023 campaign but will look to capitalize on a soft matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3. The Raiders have surrendered the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks so far this season after allowing the sixth-most in 2022. Although Pickett will once again be without his top target, Diontae Johnson (hamstring), George Pickens showcased his abilities in Week 2 and should continue to be a reliable option for the young signal-caller. Pickett could turn in a worthwhile fantasy performance on Sunday night, but he should only be considered a low-end QB2 in superflex formats.

Anthony Richardson Optimistic About Returning In Week 4

Friday, September 22, 1:52 PM

Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson (concussion) will miss the Week 3 game against the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday as he remains in the league's concussion protocol. However, a source said that Richardson is optimistic about playing in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams, assuming he passes through the protocols next week. The Colts and Richardson have been cautious this week in their discussions about his return. Veteran Gardner Minshew entered for the concussed Richardson in last week's win over the Houston Texans and threw for 171 yards on 19-for-23 passing with a touchdown and no interceptions. Minshew will make the start this weekend for the first time since Week 17 last season while playing for the Philadelphia Eagles.
