Kyle Monangai News
Tuesday, August 4, 2:08 PM
The Athletic's Kevin Fishbain reports that Chicago Bears running back Kyle Monangai (undisclosed) returned to team drills in training camp practice on Tuesday. Monangai recently missed some practices due to an undisclosed soft-tissue injury, but the Bears never seemed very concerned, and the second-year RB is now making his way back into team drills this week. Fantasy managers should have no concerns at this point regarding Monageng potentially missing the start of the 2026 regular season. The 24-year-old former seventh-round pick last year from Rutgers had a nice showing in his first NFL season in 2025 while sharing the backfield with RB1 D'Andre Swift, carrying the ball 169 times for 783 yards and five touchdowns in 17 regular-season games (one start). He wasn't very efficient as a pass-catcher, though, catching 18 of 30 targets for 164 yards as a receiver. Monangai is set to reprise his role as a backfield complement to Swift in 2026, limiting his weekly fantasy football upside as more of an RB3/flex play. He's a must-have as a handcuff if you draft Swift early on.

Jadarian Price News
Saturday, August 1, 10:34 AM
Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Jadarian Price has been splitting first-team work with George Holani, but their roles are starting to look different. According to Zain Dhanani, Price is expected to handle the regular early-down work, while Holani specializes on third downs and in two-minute situations. Emanuel Wilson has generally worked with the second unit. That is a useful opening for Price with Zach Charbonnet still on the PUP list following ACL surgery. Seattle selected the 5-foot-11, 209-pound back 32nd overall after he rushed 113 times for 674 yards and 11 touchdowns at Notre Dame last season. Price's first-round investment and current usage put him in line for meaningful carries if this arrangement holds. Holani's passing-down role could make Price more dependent on rushing volume and scoring chances, and Charbonnet's recovery remains an important unknown. Still, Price has the clearest path to early-down fantasy value among Seattle's healthy backs right now.
