The Washington Commanders are releasing veteran tight end Logan Thomas, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. He was due $6.5 million this upcoming season, including a $500k roster bonus later this month. The converted college quarterback signed with the organization to play tight end in 2020, and he had a relatively successful run. Thomas caught 184 passes for 1,685 yards and 14 touchdowns in 52 games for the franchise, despite playing with several quarterbacks.
