Marquise Brown Could Be Sidelined For Months

Friday, September 13, 2:30 PM

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown (shoulder) was placed on the injured reserve on Friday. A tough break for the young wideout who will undergo surgery to repair a shoulder issue. His placement on the IR means he'll miss the next four games, but Brown is likely to miss more time than that. Head coach Andy Reid said that Brown's recovery window is meaning measured in months not weeks. That means, fantasy managers might not be seeing Brown on the field until mid or late in the season. Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy will see increased fantasy value with Brown being sidelined indefinitely.

Quentin Johnston Looks To Keep Up Momentum In Week 2

Thursday, September 12, 4:20 PM

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston will look to increase his momentum from a relatively solid performance in Week 1 when the Chargers take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 2. Johnston drew five targets in the season's opening game, making three catches for 38 yards. He was on the field for 67% of the team's offensive snaps. Johnston has shown that he is certainly able to get open against an NFL secondary, but actually catching the ball when it is thrown perfectly to him by an NFL quarterback has proven to be a challenge. Week 1 was a positive sign but certainly not yet enough to move him into starting lineups.
