Marvin Mims News

Marvin Mims Jr. Will Play Against Raiders

Saturday, January 6, 1:56 PM

Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (hamstring) missed the first game of his career in last week's win over the Los Angeles Chargers, but he returned to full practice this week and will suit up for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Las Vegas Raiders. With both Mims and Courtland Sutton (concussion) out last week, Lil'Jordan Humphrey caught two passes for 69 yards and a touchdown. Denver has nothing to play for on Sunday, so expect Mims and other young players to get more run against the division-rival Raiders. It doesn't mean the 21-year-old will be a worthwhile low-cost DFS play, though, especially with quarterback Jarrett Stidham making another start. In his first 15 NFL games, Mims has produced just 21 receptions on 32 targets for 361 yards and one touchdown.

Dontayvion Wicks News

Dontayvion Wicks A Cheap Boom-Or-Bust DFS Option

Friday, January 19, 4:45 PM

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks will go on the road to take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday. The rookie scored the first passing touchdown of the day last week against the Dallas Cowboys but ended with only two receptions for 25 yards. With all of the Packers' pass catchers back healthy, Wicks' role has diminished. Even in a positive matchup, the 22-year-old is a risky dart throw due to the sheer number of weapons at the Packers' disposal. Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Romeo Doubs are all better options in DFS, but Wicks will be in play for the bargain hunters trying to pick sneaky options in tournaments.
