Mike Gesicki has Season-High 86 Receiving Yards in Week 14 Loss

Monday, December 8, 12:35 AM

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki scored his first touchdown of the season while also recording a season high in receptions and receiving yards, hauling in all six of his targets for 86 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills. Gesicki hasn't played a big role in Cincinnati's offense this season, but he has been surging recently and tied receiver Tee Higgins for the team lead in receptions in Sunday's shootout with the Bills in the snow. The 30-year-old has totaled 12 receptions for 140 yards and a touchdown on 16 targets over the past three games. In Cincinnati's high-volume passing offense with quarterback Joe Burrow back in the fold, Gesicki could be in for a productive end to the season as the No. 3 option behind Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase.

Dawson Knox News

Dawson Knox Tough to Trust as a TE Streamer

Tuesday, December 2, 2:41 PM

Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox was on the field for 53 offensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Steelers, a team-high amongst all non-QB skill position players. His four targets also tied for the team lead on a day in which Josh Allen attempted only 23 total passes. Unfortunately, Knox finished the day with only three catches for 28 yards. He has not scored a touchdown since Week 6, and despite playing the past three games with a combination of a benched Keon Coleman and an injured Dalton Kincaid, he has averaged 2.3 receptions for 22.7 yards. With Kincaid able to return to practice on a limited basis last week, there is an expectation that he could be back for the Bills' Week 14 matchup with the Bengals, officially closing the window on any streaming consideration for Knox.
