Parker Washington Standing Out Early in Jaguars Camp

Sunday, August 2, 9:33 AM

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington has been one of the early standouts at training camp. Sports Illustrated reports that Washington has routinely been Trevor Lawrence's top target in practice, creating separation and catching nearly everything sent his way. He closed Sunday's session with a sliding touchdown grab from Lawrence. Washington is coming off the best season of his career, when he led Jacksonville with 58 receptions and 847 receiving yards while scoring five touchdowns in 16 games. He added seven catches for 107 yards and another score in the Jaguars' playoff loss to Buffalo. There will be plenty of competition for targets with Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers, and Travis Hunter also in the receiver room, but Washington's connection with Lawrence has carried over from last season. His strong start to camp gives him a chance to remain a meaningful part of Jacksonville's passing game. Washington is worth monitoring in deeper redraft leagues, though the crowded depth chart could make his weekly production difficult to predict.

Bhayshul Tuten Sets Lofty Goals for 2026 Season

Monday, August 3, 5:18 PM

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten has his sights set on a career season in 2026 as he enters his first season as the starting running back. According to Senior NFL Analyst Tony Pauline, Tuten is chasing 1,500 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2026, which would be elite numbers for the 2025 fourth-round pick. With Travis Etienne now in New Orleans, Tuten is set to be the starter, with former Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. in line for a share of the backfield as well. Tuten has been "consistently terrific" in training camp so far, and head coach Liam Coen said he wants Tuten to "go be special, that's who you are. And we're definitely expecting Tuten to have a big year for us." The second-year back is ranked RB24 in RotoBaller's rankings and is listed as a 2026 breakout candidate.
