Parker Washington Back at Practice, has a Chance to Play in Week 14

Thursday, December 4, 12:43 PM

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington (hip) is back at practice on Thursday, according to Michael DiRocco of ESPN. It's good news for Washington, who was unable to practice on Wednesday after picking up a hip injury in Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans. The 23-year-old isn't out of the woods just yet, but he'll at least have a chance to play this weekend for a huge divisional matchup against the visiting Indianapolis Colts. The former sixth-rounder caught only one pass for 26 yards in Week 13, a week after going for five catches, 71 yards, and a TD in the Week 12 overtime win over the Arizona Cardinals. Washington has had a couple of very nice games for fantasy managers this year and has developed solid chemistry with quarterback Trevor Lawrence, but his fantasy ceiling will be lower now that Brian Thomas Jr. has returned from an ankle sprain. If Washington cannot play against Indy, Tim Patrick is expected to serve as the team's WR3 behind Thomas and Jakobi Meyers.

Jaylin Lane News

Jaylin Lane Not On Fantasy Radars in Week 13 Against Broncos

Friday, November 28, 9:15 PM

Washington Commanders rookie wide receiver Jaylin Lane (hip) was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to a hip injury, but was upgraded to full on Friday and heads into Sunday night's matchup against the Denver Broncos without an injury designation. Lane suffered the injury during Washington's Week 11 loss to the Miami Dolphins, but had the bye week to recover and is good to go for Sunday. The rookie fourth-rounder has been forced into more action on offense than expected this season with Washington being ravaged by injury at wide receiver. The speedy rookie has recorded a reception in all 11 games this season, totaling 16 catches for 225 yards on 30 targets. He had the longest catch of his career with a 41-yard gain on a deep ball from Marcus Mariota in Week 10 against the Lions. However, he figures to slide back into a depth role in Week 13 against the Broncos with Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Treylon Burks (finger) both returning.
