Veteran quarterback P.J. Walker is now looking for a new team after being cut by the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The 28-year-old was brought in on a two-year contract during the offseason to backup Justin Fields but he struggled in training camp. The Bears opted to keep undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent and veteran Nathan Peterman instead. Walker played the last three seasons with the Carolina Panthers, where he compiled a 4-3 record in seven starts.

Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson (concussion) will miss his second straight day of practice on Thursday as he remains in the league's concussion protocol. Richardson was on his way to a big day in his second career NFL game in the Week 2 win over the Houston Texans -- he had two rushing touchdowns -- but a concussion ended his day early and now he's in danger of missing a Week 3 tilt against the Baltimore Ravens on the road. Fantasy managers that have been rolling with the talented 21-year-old signal-caller as a QB2 with upside through the first two weeks of 2023 need to have a backup plan in place. If Richardson can't gain clearance by Sunday, veteran backup Gardner Minshew will make his first start for the Colts.
