Philadelphia Eagles running back Rashaad Penny (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. Just months after signing a contract with Philadelphia, the ex-Seahawks has been relegated to the No. 4 running back role. The 27-year-old has logged offensive snaps in just two games this season, rushing five times for 17 yards on the ground.

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that running back Kenneth Walker III (oblique) "might be able to make it back" for the Week 14 rematch against the division-rival San Francisco 49ers. Walker suffered a moderate oblique strain in Week 11 and was forced to miss the Thanksgiving night matchup against the Niners in Week 12. He also sat out the loss to the Dallas Cowboys this Thursday night. Seattle needs Walker even more now after rookie Zach Charbonnet suffered a bruised knee late in the Thursday night loss to Dallas. If neither Walker nor Charbonnet are able to play next week against San Francisco, the Seahawks would be down to DeeJay Dallas and Kenny McIntosh in their backfield against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
