Who Should I Start? Robert Woods or DJ Moore

The Pittsburgh Steelers have released veteran wide receiver Robert Woods from their practice squad, per an announcement from the team. Woods played in 15 games for the Houston Texans in 2024, recording 20 catches for 203 yards. The 33-year-old has been a steadily productive NFL receiver for over a decade, but he could be nearing the end of the road. Pittsburgh does not have much proven wide receiver depth behind top wideout DK Metcalf, so giving up on Woods could be telling of just how little juice the veteran has left in the tank. Even if Woods signs elsewhere, he should remain off the fantasy radar in 2025.

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore caught six of seven targets for 64 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's Wild Card win over the Green Bay Packers. He also lost five yards rushing. The highlight of Moore's game was a 25-yard touchdown catch with just 1:48 left in the fourth quarter. The score put Chicago ahead 31-27, and that score would hold for the final 108 seconds as the Bears completed an improbable comeback and punched their ticket to the Divisional Round. Moore was relatively underwhelming as just the WR35 in full-PPR leagues this year, but there's no denying that he has a flair for the dramatic. He has scored game-winning touchdowns in each of the Bears' last two games against the Packers, and he has scored at least 17.9 full-PPR fantasy points in three of his last five games. The 28-year-old will look to stay hot as the Bears advance to face the Rams in the Divisional Round next weekend.
