Drake Maye Reiterates his Goal of Wanting to Involve Stefon Diggs More

Wednesday, September 24, 5:57 PM

For the second straight week, New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye said he wants to get the ball to wide receiver Stefon Diggs more, according to Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald. "Got full trust in (Diggs). He just keeps showing it every week. You just try to get him the ball more. I told him that, you know, today," Maye said. After saying the same thing last week, Diggs was targeted a season-low three times and caught all three for a season-low 23 yards in the Week 3 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 31-year-old veteran has at least been efficient in his first three games with the Pats, catching 13 of his 15 targets, but he's gone for only 112 yards and no touchdowns. It's possible he's lost some juice after tearing his ACL last year, but it's good news that his QB is looking to keep him involved. Diggs will be a low-upside, touchdown-dependent WR4/flex in a good Week 4 matchup at home against the Carolina Panthers.

Keon Coleman Trending Down After Explosive Week 1

Thursday, September 25, 10:35 AM

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman has been quiet over the past two weeks. After an explosive Week 1 performance with eight catches for 112 yards and a touchdown, the second-year wideout has managed just three receptions for fewer than 25 yards in each of his last two outings. Part of the issue is Buffalo's offensive approach. The Bills currently lead the NFL in rushing yards per game (163), and their run-heavy game plan has minimized Coleman's fantasy impact. His snap share of 72% is close compared to rookie season, and the recent dip in production the past two weeks has hurt his value. Coleman draws the New Orleans Saints in Week 4, a defense that has allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. An efficient bounce-back is possible, but given his recent trend, Coleman is best left on fantasy benches this week.
