New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs (finger) has consistently operated as Drake Maye's favorite target, keeping him in the low-end WR1 tier for fantasy football in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals. The veteran pass catcher has reportedly been playing through a broken finger, and despite the ailment, he has amassed 27 catches, 272 yards, and three touchdowns over his last five games. He has strung together five consecutive games with double-digit fantasy points in PPR leagues despite playing fewer than 61% of the snaps in four of those five contests. He ranks eighth in the NFL in fantasy points per route run, making each of his plays incredibly valuable. Even against a Bengals defense allowing the 14th-fewest fantasy points to receivers and the fewest fantasy points to receivers who play out wide, Diggs should be deployed as a WR1 in most fantasy leagues.

The Pittsburgh Steelers officially signed wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to their practice squad on Tuesday, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. The 31-year-old held a depth role in San Francisco earlier this season, catching four of his eight targets for 40 yards in five games played. Valdes-Scantling has bounced around, with Pittsburgh marking his fourth team in two seasons. The veteran has been a useful player at nearly every stop of his career and now reunites with his former Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, in Pittsburgh. Valdes-Scantling's most productive season in the NFL came back in 2020 with Rodgers, where he caught a career high six touchdowns and led the league with 20.9 yards per reception.
