New Orleans Saints tight ends Taysom Hill (knee) and Foster Moreau (knee) are both recovering from torn ACLs suffered last season and are starting on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list, according to Ross Jackson of Locked On Saints. Both Hill and Moreau will be required to at least miss the first four games of the 2025 season, and based on a recent report from the team, they both might not be ready to make their season debuts when Week 5 rolls around on Oct. 5 against the New York Giants. The 35-year-old Hill can do it all for the Saints offense, but it's unclear exactly how he'll be used when he finally returns under new head coach Kellen Moore. Hill suffered his torn ACL in Week 13 of last year and can be ignored in fantasy drafts in 12-team leagues. Juwan Johnson will be the team's top pass-catching TE to open the year, but he won't draw much fantasy attention given the team's weak QB situation.

Things may be going from bad to worse for Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy, whose struggling offensive line is now facing additional injuries headed into Week 3. Already playing without star left tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee), who is working his way back from ACL surgery last year, backup left tackle Justin Skule (concussion) departed Sunday's game against Atlanta, as did starting center Ryan Kelly (concussion). The Vikings' offense has been brutal for most of the season, and McCarthy was pressured a whopping 16 times in the humbling defeat to the Falcons. Starting running back Aaron Jones (hamstring) also left the game, so Minnesota's injury report will be worth watching prior to their Week 3 game against Cincinnati.
