The veteran is aiming to make Minnesota's 53-man roster, which should have room for an extra receiver with Jordan Addison (suspension) set to miss the first three games and Rondale Moore (knee) out for the season. Jones' fantasy value is tied to whether he actually makes the club, and on Saturday, he looked capable of being a depth option.

Veteran Mike Evans (ribs) is considered day-to-day with the rib strain that knocked him out of Sunday's victory, allowing Watkins to turn his two receptions into 60 yards.
