Travis Kelce Could Boom Against Cowboys On Thanksgiving Day

Wednesday, November 26, 5:21 PM

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce could feast in a matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13. Kelce was third on the team in receiving yards last week against the Indianapolis Colts, but he's been one of the most productive tight ends in fantasy football this season. The veteran tight end is averaging 61.3 receiving yards per game this year, which would be third among tight ends, just behind Trey McBride and Brock Bowers. Kelce has enjoyed a resurgent season after a disappointing 2024 year from a production standpoint. Kelce will now face a Cowboys defense that is middle-of-the-pack in fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends this season, but he should find more success than most. The Cowboys offense should be able to put up points against the Kansas City defense, which would translate into more receiving opportunities for Kelce. Kelce is ranked TE5 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a rock-solid TE1 start for Thanksgiving Day.

Devin Singletary News

Devin Singletary Not a Strong Fantasy Option in Week 13

Friday, November 28, 10:07 AM

New York Giants running back Devin Singletary had 14 carries for 47 yards in Week 12's 34-27 loss in overtime to the New York Giants. While the 14 carries appear encouraging, the 3.36 YPC does not. Additionally, Tyrone Tracy Jr. played 71 percent of the snaps and out-touched Singletary 23 to 14. Additionally, Tracy Jr. continues to be a running back involved in the passing game and getting a majority of the carries, with Singletary being brought in as a goal-line or change-of-pace back. Given Singletary's 14 carries and the possibility of being the team's goal-line back, he is still worth a hold in fantasy, but not someone that can confidently be started unless we see a shift in snap percentage or Tracy were to go down with an injury. Week 13 presents a challenging task: going to Foxboro to take on New England's stiff run defense, which has allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. Singletary will not be a recommended start in Week 13, but could be held on fantasy managers' bench if they have the spot available.
