Tennessee Titans wide receiver Tyler Boyd should be viewed as a desperation flex option in deeper 3WR formats in Week 13 when he faces the Washington Commanders. Last weekend, the veteran wideout enjoyed his best game of the season, catching all six of his targets for a season-high 55 yards. However, during Weeks 6 through 11, Boyd averaged a mere 4.1 PPR points and saw just 2.8 targets per game during this stretch. With Calvin Ridley and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine operating as the No.1 and 2 receivers, Boyd will have trouble finding consistent targets. However, given his impressive showing last weekend, fantasy managers in 14+ team 3WR formats could consider using Boyd as a desperation flex option facing the Commanders, who have allowed the 16th-most PPR points this season to opposing wideouts.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Chase Claypool has been released by the organization. This news doesn't come as a huge surprise after Claypool was placed on the injured reserve earlier this week due to a toe injury. The 26-year-old put together two solid seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers to begin his career. Since then, Claypool has struggled to find much success and is fighting to stick on a 53-man roster. The former second-round pick will look to catch on elsewhere once he gets healthy. He's unlikely to have much fantasy value if any during the 2024 season.
Still trying to decide between Boyd and Claypool? Check on the latest news to make sure both players are active and healthy. Our PPR projections show that Tyler Boyd is projected to score 4.4 points this week while Chase Claypool is projected to score 0.0 points.
