Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (ankle) was listed on the first Week 3 injury report with an ankle injury, but he was able to put in a limited practice on Wednesday. Hill apparently picked up an ankle injury in the Week 2 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday night, and while his status deserves monitoring the rest of the week, it doesn't sound like an injury that's serious enough to keep him from playing in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos in the team's home opener. The Cheetah already has 16 receptions for 24 yards for 255 yards and a league-high three touchdowns through two weeks in 2023, and he could see a hefty workload this Sunday if Jaylen Waddle doesn't clear the concussion protocol. The Broncos defense just allowed 35 points to the Washington Commanders.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith caught 4-of-5 targets for 131 yards and one touchdown during the team's 34-28 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. The former Heisman winner started the game strong with an impressive 54-yard catch over top of a defender on the team's first offensive drive. Smith capped off the night with a 63-yard touchdown where he torched the cornerback and trotted into the end zone with ease. The 24-year-old ended the 2022 season on a high note, and he has continued to have success to start 2023 after scoring in each of the first two games of the year. Teammate A.J. Brown seemed to voice his frustrations to the team on the sideline about wanting to be more involved, but it should not affect Smith heading into Philadelphia's Week 3 matchup against Tampa Bay. He should be considered a borderline WR1 in that matchup.
