Dolphins Expected to Release Tyreek Hill Following 2025 Season

Saturday, October 4, 3:05 PM

According to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, "league sources expect the (Miami) Dolphins to release (wide receiver Tyreek) Hill (knee) before the start of the next league year in March 2026." Hill suffered a devastating knee injury in Week 4 and is expected to miss the remainder of 2025. He's reportedly working towards being ready for Week 1 of the 2026 season, but it appears he'll be suiting up outside of Miami to do so. The 31-year-old has recorded over 11,000 receiving yards and 90 total touchdowns across his 10-year NFL career to this point. It remains to be seen how effective he will be coming off a serious knee injury.

Another 100-Yard Week For Vikings WR Justin Jefferson

Sunday, October 5, 1:21 PM

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson again showed why he's one of the best in football Sunday against Cleveland, going for seven catches and 123 yards in Minnesota's 21-17 comeback win in London. The All-Pro drew a game-best 11 targets and pulled down an excellent 21-yard catch on one of the NFL's top corners, Cleveland's Denzel Ward, to aid the Vikings' game-winning, 80-yard touchdown drive in the fourth quarter. Fantasy managers have to be encouraged by Jefferson's past two weeks, in which he drew 11 targets and surpassed 100 yards in both games. The beat-up Vikings will take their bye in Week 6 before likely seeing the return of starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy (ankle) in Week 7.
