According to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, "league sources expect the (Miami) Dolphins to release (wide receiver Tyreek) Hill (knee) before the start of the next league year in March 2026." Hill suffered a devastating knee injury in Week 4 and is expected to miss the remainder of 2025. He's reportedly working towards being ready for Week 1 of the 2026 season, but it appears he'll be suiting up outside of Miami to do so. The 31-year-old has recorded over 11,000 receiving yards and 90 total touchdowns across his 10-year NFL career to this point. It remains to be seen how effective he will be coming off a serious knee injury.

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey finally reached the end zone on Sunday, catching five of seven targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in the team's 27-10 loss to the Washington Commanders. It was a much-needed bounce-back after last week's poor performance, demonstrating that he can be trusted again in short-yardage and red-zone situations. He also had a 57-yard punt return touchdown called back by a penalty, one of 10 penalties that disrupted L.A.'s rhythm all day. With rookie running back Omarion Hampton (ankle) placed on IR, the Chargers might need to rely more on their receivers, and McConkey's dependable hands could earn him more targets against a vulnerable Miami Dolphins secondary in Week 6.
