Zach Ertz News
Saturday, October 3, 12:29 PM
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz made his 2026 debut in Week 3, recording one catch for nine yards on two targets in his team's loss to the Chicago Bears. The 35-year-old played 38% of Philadelphia's offensive snaps, second among Eagles tight ends behind Johnny Mundt. Ertz may end up playing a larger role in his team's game plan in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams. Philadelphia will be without top pass-catching tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) for the second straight week. The Eagles will also be missing star wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring), leaving the team without its top two pass-catching options. Ertz is coming off a major knee injury that ended his 2025 season, so he may not be able to handle a full snap share yet. Still, he could be a red zone target for Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and profiles as a potential tight end streamer for deep-league fantasy managers in Week 4.
