More RBs Get Paid
Just in time for Week 1’s matchups, saw RBs Dalvin Cook sign a 5-year, $63 million extension, and the next day Alvin Kamara followed that up with a 5-year, $75 million deal, just in time for the regular season. This is huge news for dynasty leagues as both players are an ideal fit in their respective team’s offense. If you were able to trade a few pieces for Cook or Kamara from a manager who was uncertain about the contract situation, you were on cloud-9 entering the season. Cook and Kamara both produced after getting paid, scoring 21.3 and 21.2 fantasy points, respectively, in half-PPR leagues.
