FanDuel Picks for Week 7 NFL DFS

Week 7 is here, and it brings yet another fun slate of DFS. It’s an 11-game slate this time around with three games that have an implied total above 50, so there will be no shortage of great matchups to choose from. FanDuel also includes the Sunday night matchup on the main slate, so don’t forget about the Jets at Steelers game when making your lineups. Without further ado, here are my top plays at each position to turn Week 7 into a profitable week playing FanDuel DFS.

Quarterbacks

Jayden Daniels - CAR @ WAS ($9100)

Jayden Daniels is showing no signs of slowing down, as he has now eclipsed 20 points in four straight weeks. I fully expect him to continue that streak this week, as he faces the Panthers at home with a massive implied team total of 29.75. He can get it down both through the air and on the ground, and Carolina has shown enough offensive potential with Andy Dalton at the helm to keep the game at least somewhat competitive.

Sam Darnold - DET @ MIN ($7500)

I usually opt to pay up at quarterback on FanDuel, but Sam Darnold represents a great value play if you need the savings. The Vikings are home favorites in a game against the Lions with an implied game total of 50.5, the third highest on the slate. He was disappointing last week with 5 points against a tough Jets defense, but before that, he was averaging over 20 points per game. I expect him to return to form this week in a game with a high likelihood of turning into a shootout, and there are plenty of options to stack from both sides of this game.

Other Plays: Josh Allen ($9200), Jalen Hurts ($8500)

Running Backs

Kyren Williams  - LV @ LAR ($8600)

An easy way to find good running backs to play in DFS is to look for teams who are favored to win by a large margin at home. That’s exactly what the Rams are this week, favored to beat the Raiders by 7 points. It’s hard to imagine Las Vegas having a chance in this game, which bodes well for Kyren Williams being fed carries to control the game. He’s had over 20 touches in 4 of 5 games this year, leading to 18.62 points per game on average. Volume is king in DFS, and he is once again in line for a ton of it.

Kenneth Walker III - SEA @ ATL ($7500)

Speaking of high-volume plays, Kenneth Walker is coming off a 22-touch game against the 49ers last week. We’re used to seeing Walker look dominant rushing the ball, but he has actually become quite the pass catcher over the past couple of weeks, too. He has had 8 targets in two straight games, hauling in 15 catches for 94 receiving yards. A dual-threat running back with huge explosive play ability in line for 20 opportunities should not be priced as low as $7500, so enjoy this price while it lasts.

Other Plays: Breece Hall ($7600), Chuba Hubbard ($7400), Tony Pollard ($7100)

Wide Receivers

Drake London - SEA @ ATL ($7500)

Drake London was my favorite wide receiver play last week, and he once again was peppered with double-digit targets, catching 6 passes for 74 yards and a touchdown. This is now three straight weeks with 10 or more targets, and it’s clear he’s becoming a true alpha wide receiver for this Falcons offense. You would think this would send his salary skyrocketing up, but shockingly he went from $7400 last week to only $7500 this week. It’s a no-brainer to play him at this price, so just keep plugging him in and reaping the rewards.

Justin Jefferson - DET @ MIN ($9400)

I already mentioned that I like Sam Darnold this week, and I will be pairing Jefferson with him in every one of those lineups. He hasn’t had a huge slate-winning game yet this season, but this is the perfect opportunity to get one against a beatable Lions secondary. Jefferson is expensive for good reason, as he’s the highest projected receiver in terms of raw points on the slate. The good news is that he is still very easily affordable whenever you play him with Darnold, as their combined salary comes out to $16,900.

Terry McLaurin - CAR @ WAS ($7200)

Keeping with the trend of stacking my favorite quarterbacks with their top receiver, I like Terry McLaurin this week for all the same reasons I like Jayden Daniels. The Commanders have a good opportunity to lead the slate in points scored, and McLaurin and Daniels have developed great chemistry. Since week 3, McLaurin is averaging 17.6 points per game, and now gets an amazing matchup in an explosive game environment.

Other Plays: Malik Nabers ($8300), Diontae Johnson ($7100), Jameson Williams ($6500)

Tight Ends

Travis Kelce - KC @ SF ($7100)

Travis Kelce is back to getting a huge target share now that Rashee Rice is injured, as he’s earned 10 and 9 targets in the past two games. Anyone getting close to consistent double-digit targets as a tight end is pretty much automatically a good play, so I’ll be locking in the volume where I can afford it this week. He’s yet to find the end zone so far this season, but maybe that will change this week in the rematch of the Super Bowl.

Brock Bowers - LV @ LAR ($7000)

As I just mentioned, I am willing to pay up for guaranteed volume whenever I can at tight end, making Bowers a solid play every single week. He’s also coming off of two straight games with 10 or more targets, and I expect another heavy workload for him as the Raiders try everything they can to stay in this game against the Rams. With Davante Adams gone, he is the clear-cut best receiving option for this team.

Other Plays: George Kittle ($7500), David Njoku ($5300)

Defenses

Expensive - Philadelphia Eagles at NYG ($4700)

Mid-Priced - Los Angeles Rams vs LV ($4100)

Cheap - New York Giants vs PHI ($3200)

Favorite Game Stacks

(Highlighted team represents my favorite side of the game to stack)
