Audric Estime to Lose Work in Week 18?

New Orleans Saints running back Audric Estime carried 14 times for 94 yards and a touchdown in Week 17's 34-26 victory over the Tennessee Titans. After a confusing Week 16, where tight end Taysom took most of the rushing attempts, Estime took over and had the best game of his young NFL career. With Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle), Kendre Miller (ACL), and Devin Neal (hamstring) all missing significant time, Estime stepped up, playing 80% of the snaps. In comparison, backup Evan Hull played 18%, and Hill played only 14%. They face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 18, who rank middle-of-the-pack against running backs this season. However, this could be Hill's final game as a Saint, and his usage on the goal line and in other key situations could cap Estime's ceiling in Week 18. In a meaningless game for the Saints, look for Hill to have a proper send-off against the Falcons, whom he has dominated in his NFL career.

Audric Estime Establishing RB1 Status in New Orleans

New Orleans Saints running back Audric Estime had a breakout game in Week 17, recording 14 carries for 94 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Tennessee Titans. With Saints running backs Alvin Kamara (knee, ankle), Kendre Miller (knee), and Devin Neal (hamstring) all sidelined, the team has an opportunity for backfield contributors to emerge. Estime appeared to step into that void in Week 17, as his 14 rush attempts were nearly triple that of running back Evan Hull and tight end Taysom Hill combined (5). Estime also dominated running back playing time against Tennessee, playing 76% of the Saints' offensive snaps. Miller and Neal are on Injured Reserve, while Kamara has a chance to return in Week 18. However, Kamara has missed five straight games, and there's not a ton of incentive for the 6-10 Saints to bring him back this season. In fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams, Estime should be a waiver-wire target heading into his Week 18 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Audric Estime Leads Saints' Backfield in Week 17

New Orleans Saints running back Audric Estime had a big day in his team's 34-26 Week 17 win over the Tennessee Titans, recording 14 carries for 94 yards and a touchdown. Estime also hauled in one reception for four yards on one target. With Saints running backs Alvin Kamara (knee, ankle), Kendre Miller (knee), and Devin Neal (hamstring) all on the shelf, Estime appears to have taken over the lead role in the New Orleans backfield. In Week 17, Estime's 15 touches were triple the combined total of fellow Saints rushers Evan Hull and Taysom Hill (five). Across 19 career NFL games, Estime has now recorded 445 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 101 carries. He could be a viable starting running back option for fantasy managers in Week 18 when New Orleans takes on the Atlanta Falcons.

Audric Estime Takes Backseat in Saints' Offense

New Orleans Saints running back Audric Estime rushed five times for 19 yards and caught three of four targets for 17 yards in the Week 16 victory over the Jets. Estime was expected to lead the Saints' backfield with Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) and Devin Neal (hamstring) both sidelined, but it was veteran Taysom Hill who handled a team-high 12 rush attempts. Fellow running back Evan Hull also received just five carries. The usage was concerning for Estime's fantasy outlook, and with Hill heavily involved across all facets of the offense, Estime appears to be more of a complementary back. He profiles as a low-end RB3/Flex option against the Titans in Week 17.

Audric Estime On the Outs with Hill Siphoning Touches?

New Orleans Saints running back Audric Estime did not take over as the team's lead back in Sunday's 29-6 home win over the Jets, instead ceding significant work to tight end Taysom Hill. With backfield mate Devin Neal (hamstring) on IR, and veteran Alvin Kamara (knee, ankle) still dealing with injuries of his own, it was presumed that Estime would split touches on the ground with third-year pro Evan Hull. That wasn't the case, though, as Hill's 12 carries were more than the above-mentioned duo's combined (10), while he also drew the third-most targets on the team (six). As long as the 35-year-old is in the picture, it would seem that Estime's path to fantasy relevance is blocked, leaving him best-suited as waiver-wire fodder for the time being.

Audric Estime Fighting for Carries in Crowded Saints Backfield

New Orleans Saints running back Audric Estime had a season high in touches on Sunday against the New York Jets. The 22-year-old had five carries for 19 yards, along with three catches for 17 yards on four targets. Estime was projected to be the lead back for the Saints with Alvin Kamara and Devin Neal missing time due to injuries, but was out-touched by Taysom Hill in Week 16. Hill led the team with 12 carries in the Saints' final home game. With Kamara's status unknown in Week 17, Estime will likely split carries with Hill and Evan Hull. With a lot of mouths to feed in the Saints' backfield, Estime should only be added off the waiver wire in deeper leagues to add bench depth heading into fantasy championships.

Audric Estime in Line for Bigger Role Against Jets

New Orleans Saints running back Audric Estime rushed three times for 11 yards and added 39 yards on three receptions in the Week 15 victory against the Panthers. Devin Neal exited in the second quarter, and with Alvin Kamara also out, Estime split touches with fellow back Evan Hull for the remainder of the game. With both Neal and Kamara out again this week, Estime is expected to take on a larger role and will "probably" draw the start against the Jets, according to Nick Underhill. Even if touches are shared, New York presents a strong matchup, allowing the third-most PPR points to running backs and the fourth-most rushing yards per game. The favorable matchup boosts Estime into FLEX consideration for Week 16.

Audric Estime Primed for Lead-Back Role in Week 16?

New Orleans Saints running back Audric Estime looks set to have a significant role in New Orleans' backfield for the Week 16 matchup at home this Sunday against the visiting New York Jets. Rookie Devin Neal (hamstring) has been ruled out, and veteran Alvin Kamara (knee, ankle) has yet to practice since spraining his MCL back in Week 12. After Neal was injured in Sunday's upset win over the Carolina Panthers, Estime and Evan Hull split the backfield work, with Estime carrying the ball three times for 11 yards and catching all three of his targets for 39 yards. Hull had four totes for 12 yards but wasn't involved in the passing game. While Estime is worthy of a waiver-wire pickup going into Week 16's favorable matchup against the Jets, keep in mind that he had just three carries all year going into last week. Additionally, rookie quarterback Tyler Shough will continue to be a factor in the Saints' ground game, as he's had at least six carries in each of his last four starts. At best, Estime will be a low-upside, touchdown-dependent RB3/flex for desperate fantasy managers this weekend if Kamara doesn't return.

Audric Estime Worth a Look on Waivers With Teammate Injured

At least in deeper fantasy football leagues, New Orleans Saints running back Audric Estime is worth looking at on waivers going into Week 16 action after rookie RB Devin Neal injured his hamstring in the Week 15 upset win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Estime played a season-high 36% of the offensive snaps and split backfield work with Evan Hull after Neal was injured in the second quarter. The 22-year-old handled three carries for 11 yards and also caught all three of his targets for an additional 39 yards. Hull had just one more carry than Estime and wasn't involved at all in the passing game. Estime could be in play as a deep-league RB3/flex option in a great Week 16 matchup against the New York Jets if both Alvin Kamara (ankle, knee) and Neal are unable to play. Keep in mind that both rookie quarterback Tyler Shough (team-high eight carries on Sunday) and tight end Taysom Hill could take valuable carries away from both Estime and Hull if Kamara and Neal are out this weekend.

Audric Estime Could be More Involved in Week 13

New Orleans Saints running back Audric Estime figures to have a larger role in the offense for the upcoming Week 13 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. The Saints are going to be without lead back Alvin Kamara (knee, ankle) for at least one game. That means, Devin Neal will take over as the lead back. However, Estime, Evan Hull, and Taysom Hill could see a role as well. Estime was signed to the active roster a few weeks ago, but has been mainly a depth option. The 22-year-old is still young enough to re-establish his value with his new team. Estime won't be worth starting this weekend, but could be someone worth stashing in dynasty formats.

Audric Estime Could See Major Role Increase in New Orleans

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (knee) suffered an MCL sprain during his team's Week 12 loss to the Atlanta Falcons and may now be facing missed time. With fellow Saints back Kendre Miller (knee) out for the season, there is a clear opportunity for playing time in the New Orleans backfield. Rookie sixth-rounder Devin Neal looks like the most likely candidate to step in as the Saints' lead back if Kamara misses time. However, Audric Estime is another running back who could see a significantly increased role. A fifth-round pick in the 2024 draft by the Denver Broncos, Estime recorded 310 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 76 carries across 13 games with Denver as a rookie. He was released by the Broncos before the start of the 2025 season and has spent most of the year on the Saints' practice squad. Now on New Orleans' active roster, Estime could get his chance to re-establish his NFL career. He could be a player to target on the waiver wire in deep fantasy leagues ahead of the Saints' Week 13 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

Saints Sign Audric Estime to the Active Roster

The New Orleans Saints signed running back Audric Estime to their active 53-man roster on Wednesday from the practice squad, according to Katherine Terrell of ESPN. Estime didn't make the Denver Broncos' final roster out of training camp and then latched on with the Saints' practice squad late last month. The 22-year-old will be active for the first time in 2025 when the Saints take on the division-rival Carolina Panthers in Week 10, now that Kendre Miller (knee) is out for the year with a torn ACL. Estime will operate as the No. 3 running back for New Orleans, so he won't have any fantasy value for the time being behind starter Alvin Kamara and rookie Devin Neal. In his rookie season with Denver last year, Estime had 76 rushing attempts for 310 yards (4.1 yards per carry) and two touchdowns while adding five catches for 27 yards in 13 regular-season games.

Eagles Sign Audric Estime to Practice Squad

The Philadelphia Eagles signed former Denver Broncos running back Audric Estime to their practice squad on Wednesday, sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Estime was on the open market after failing to make the Broncos' 53-man roster in a backfield that includes rookie RJ Harvey, veteran J.K. Dobbins, Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie. In Philadelphia, he'll start on the practice squad for the reigning Super Bowl champions while providing depth behind Saquon Barkley, Will Shipley and AJ Dillon. He's still very young at 21 years old and was selected in the fifth round (147th overall) last year out of Notre Dame. Estime got a little bit of run in his first NFL season with Denver, carrying the ball 76 times for 310 yards (4.1 yards per carry) and two touchdowns in 13 regular-season games (one start). He can be avoided in all fantasy leagues for now.

Broncos Waive Audric Estime

The Denver Broncos waived running back Audric Estime on Monday, a source told Mike Klis of 9 News. Estime did not do enough in training camp or the preseason this summer to earn a role on the team's 53-man active roster heading into the regular season. It means that Tyler Badie currently is the club's No. 4 RB behind J.K. Dobbins, rookie RJ Harvey and Jaleel McLaughlin. The 21-year-old Estime did his best to stick around on Saturday in the preseason finale against the New Orleans Saints by rushing for 45 yards and a touchdown on eight carries, but it just wasn't enough. If the second-year back clears waivers, he'll revert to Denver's practice squad to begin the year. Estime was selected in the fifth round last year out of Notre Dame and saw 76 rushing attempts for 310 yards (4.1 yards per carry) and two touchdowns on the ground in 13 regular-season games (one start).

Audric Estime a Cut Candidate in Denver?

Denver Broncos running back Audric Estime "may not even make the roster" out of training camp, according to Nick Kosmider of The Athletic. A fifth-round pick in 2024, Estime rushed for 310 yards and two touchdowns on 76 carries as a rookie. Denver overhauled their running back room heading into 2025, using a second-round pick on RJ Harvey and signing J.K. Dobbins in free agency. Those additions could leave Estime on the outside looking in. If the 21-year-old were in fact released, he would surely get an opportunity with another team. The best outcome for Estime's fantasy profile in the short and long term might be for him to find a home outside of Denver.

Audric Estime in Line for More Touches

On Thursday, Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton noted that running back Audric Estime will garner increased opportunities in his second season with the team. "He's a back that requires enough touches," said Payton. "He's going to get those opportunities." The former fifth-round rookie was undoubtedly lacking in opportunities in 2024 -- placing fourth on the team in carries and rushing yards behind backfield mates Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin and quarterback Bo Nix. Estime was a productive player in his final season at Notre Dame, finishing with 1,341 yards and 18 rushing scores in 12 games. However, Denver's recent selection of RJ Harvey in the second round adds formidable competition in the backfield. Harvey is slotted in first on the team's unofficial depth chart, ahead of Estime for now. The latter projects to be more of a traditional short-yardage back due to his larger stature, but Harvey is also a force between the tackles and profiles as a better pass-catcher despite poor pass-protection skills.

Audric Estime Hard To Trust Heading Into Playoffs

Denver Broncos rookie running back Audric Estime is hard to recommend for fantasy lineups against the Buffalo Bills on wild-card weekend this Sunday as part of a three-man RB committee in Denver that also includes Jaleel McLaughlin and Javonte Williams. Estime did have 12 carries in the Week 18 win over the Kansas City Chiefs -- his second-highest total of the year -- but most of his work came in garbage time in a 38-0 blowout. In his first 13 NFL games in 2024, Estime averaged 4.1 yards per carry and only 5.8 rushing attempts per game. Opportunities are surely to be limited again this weekend in a game the Broncos are nearly 10-point underdogs on the road. The 21-year-old will probably only pay off as a flex play for fantasy managers if he finds the end zone, which he was only able to do twice this year. Estime has little upside as long as he's sharing touches with McLaughlin and Williams.

Audric Estime Inefficient On The Ground But Finds End Zone In Week 18

Denver Broncos rookie running back Audric Estime wasn't very effective on the ground with double-digit carries but managed to find the end zone in the 38-0 win on Sunday in Denver against the visiting division-rival Kansas City Chiefs in the Week 18 regular-season finale. Estime was afforded 12 carries -- his second time all year with double-digit carries -- with the Broncos offense moving the ball mostly at will against backups on defense for the Chiefs. The 21-year-old only gained 34 yards on his 12 carries (2.8 yards per tote) but found the end zone late for his second TD of the year (and second in the last three weeks). Still, most of Estime's work came late in the second half with the game already decided, working behind Jaleel McLaughlin and Javonte Williams early on. There will be minimal fantasy upside for the rookie in the first round of the playoffs against the Bills in Denver's committee backfield.

Audric Estime Hard To Trust In Week 18 Lineups

Denver Broncos rookie running back Audric Estime gets a Week 18 matchup against a Kansas City Chiefs team that will be resting key starters on defense for the playoffs as the Broncos look to punch their ticket to the postseason on Sunday at home. The rookie does have nine carries in consecutive weeks, but he hasn't played more than 30% of the offensive snaps since Week 10 in a Broncos backfield that has become a frustrating committee for fantasy purposes that also involves Jaleel McLaughlin and Javonte Williams. The 21-year-old has averaged 4.3 yards per carry and 23.30 rushing yards per game in his first 12 NFL games for Denver. The Broncos' ground game could get things going against a Chiefs defense that will be vulnerable in the season finale, but fantasy managers shouldn't consider Estime as much more than a low-upside, touchdown-dependent RB3/flex in Week 18.

Audric Estime Quiet In Loss

Denver Broncos running back Audric Estime was unable to find much success on the ground during Saturday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The rookie back rushed nine times for 24 yards while hauling in his lone target for 13 yards in the loss. This is now back-to-back games that Estime has seen nine touches in the backfield. However, Estime remains in a committee with Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin. That being said, Estime isn't going to offer much fantasy value right now, but is worth holding in most dynasty leagues.
