Caleb Williams on the Rise After Leading Another Improbable Comeback

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was a top-10 fantasy signal-caller in his second year in the NFL, and although it wasn't always pretty, he has his team one win away from the NFC Championship. Williams led the Bears back from down 21-3 at halftime to beat the Green Bay Packers on Wild-Card weekend, throwing for a season-high 361 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. The 24-year-old has gone over 300 passing yards in two of the last three games and has tossed six touchdown passes to three interceptions in that span. Williams has an uncanny knack for extending plays outside the pocket and finding open receivers down the field in the second half with games hanging in the balance. Even though inclement weather is expected in Chicago on Sunday for the Divisional Round against the Los Angeles Rams, the former first overall pick will have top-three QB upside in fantasy against a Rams defense that has looked a lot more vulnerable late in the year.

Colston Loveland Emerging as Caleb Williams' Favorite Target

Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland went nuclear in the Wild Card Round, hauling in eight of 15 targets for 137 yards in the 31-27 win over the Green Bay Packers. Loveland was disappointing early in the season, ranking as the TE50 through the first eight weeks. The 10th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft has ranked as the TE2 since Week 9, trailing only Trey McBride, and has fully cemented himself as a top option at the position in the divisional round. He faces a Los Angeles Rams defense that has ranked in the middle of the pack against tight ends this season. The Bears have a crowded receiver room, including Rome Odunze, D.J. Moore, and Luther Burden III, but Loveland's connection with quarterback Caleb Williams stands out, and the rookie tight end is a strong option against the Rams.

Caleb Williams Throws for Season-High 361 Yards in Playoff Win Over Packers

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams led his team to yet another comeback win in impressive fashion in the 31-27 victory over the division-rival Green Bay Packers on Saturday night in the Wild-Card round of the playoffs. Williams finished 24-for-48 passing for a season-high 361 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. He added four carries for 20 yards and also took one sack for a loss of nine yards. The 24-year-old second-year signal-caller also fumbled, but it was recovered by the Bears. It was the Bears' single-game playoff passing-yardage record. It wasn't pretty, but Williams continues to display his elite athleticism by extending the play outside the pocket to find his receivers deep down the field. The USC alum could get into a shootout with the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round, giving him plenty of fantasy upside. Williams has now gone over 300 passing yards in two of his last three games, with six touchdowns and three interceptions combined in his last three contests.

Caleb Williams Should Benefit From Full Complement of Wide Receivers

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams will get his first taste of postseason action in Saturday night's Wild Card matchup with the Packers, and it appears he will do so with his full complement of wide receivers. After missing the past five games with a foot injury, second-year wideout Rome Odunze (foot) carried no injury designation after managing a full practice on Thursday. Luther Burden III, who missed Week 16 with an ankle injury and popped up on the Week 18 injury report with a quad issue, enters the playoffs having stayed off the injury report for the first time in weeks. With his offense as healthy as it's been in weeks, and facing a Green Bay defense that can not make the same claim, Williams is RotoBaller's QB6 for the first week of fantasy playoff leagues.

Caleb Williams a Solid Fantasy Playoff Option for Wild Card Weekend

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams finished the 2025 regular season as the QB5 for the year under first-year head coach Ben Johsnon. He completed 330 of 568 (58%) for 3,942 yards and a 27:7 TD: INT ratio. From a fantasy standpoint, he also contributed 383 rushing yards and three touchdowns, giving him a solid rushing floor. Although there were some lower moments on the season where he scored 12 or fewer fantasy points in three of his 17 contests, for the most part, Williams was a solid fantasy option, and should continue to be so in the playoffs. The Bears take on division opponent, the Green Bay Packers, in round one, who struggled to stay healthy down the stretch and have a very beatable defense after losing Micah Parsons (knee) for the season. This will be Williams' first career playoff start, and the Bears are currently underdogs(+1) to the Packers at home, so there is some risk for Fantasy managers in playoff leagues. However, if the Bears do make a run, it will likely be because the second-year signal-caller is performing at an elite level, making him a solid fantasy option for the playoffs.

Caleb Williams a Strong Play for Week 18 Championships

Chicago Bears signal-caller Caleb Williams has finished as a top-8 fantasy quarterback in back-to-back games, including a QB5 finish in Sunday Night's loss to the 49ers. In Week 18, the Bears face a Lions defense that ranks among the most fantasy-friendly to opposing quarterbacks. The Bears are locked into either the number two or three seed in the NFC playoffs, but a win on Sunday could mean the difference between playing a banged-up Packers seven seed or a more daunting matchup with the Rams or 49ers. With neither Luther Burden III (quad) nor Olamide Zaccheaus (illness) carrying an injury designation into the weekend and Rome Odunze (foot) questionable following a limited practice on Friday, Williams could have as close to a healthy stable of receivers as he's had in some time. He is RotoBaller's QB3 for the final regular-season game of his impressive sophomore campaign.

Caleb Williams a QB2 with Upside Against 49ers

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is coming off a stellar Week 16 performance, totaling 250 passing yards and two touchdowns, plus 30 rushing yards, in the thrilling overtime victory over the Green Bay Packers. Alongside head coach Ben Johnson, Williams has led the Bears to an 11-4 record and could clinch the NFC North with a Week 17 win and a Packers loss. He faces the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17, who have allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. In Week 16, the 49ers defense allowed 44-year-old quarterback Philip Rivers to total 277 passing yards and two touchdowns. With good weather expected, Williams offers upside as a QB2 against this injury-plagued 49ers defense.

Caleb Williams Leads the Bears to Victory Against Packers

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams completed 19 of 34 passes for 250 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions in the thrilling 22-16 overtime victory over the Green Bay Packers. Williams entered the fourth quarter with under 125 passing yards and just nine completions, but a positive game script and the second-year quarterback's clutch playmaking saved the day. The Bears are now 11-4 and control their destiny to win the NFC North, and none of this would be possible without the massive leap Williams has taken in his second season. They face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night in Week 17, which could be a hat-and-T-shirt game for Williams and the Bears. For fantasy purposes, Williams will continue to be a risky QB2 due to his low volume in Ben Johnson's offense.

Caleb Williams a QB2 in Must-Win Game Against Packers

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams enters Week 16 with a lot on the line as they face division rival Green Bay Packers. Williams is in the midst of a breakout season, throwing for 3,150 yards, adding 21 touchdowns, and throwing six interceptions in 14 games. The 2024 first overall pick has averaged 18.7 fantasy points per game, ranking him QB9 on a per-game basis. This Packers defense has been strong all year, allowing the tenth-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Injuries will factor for both sides as well, with the Bears down two key receivers in Rome Odunze (foot) and Luther Burden III (ankle), while the Packers are without star Micah Parsons, who tore his ACL last week. Once again, volume will be the question surrounding Williams' fantasy stock this weekend, as he provides QB2 value against the Packers.

Caleb Williams a Risky Option Against Browns

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams' passing volume remained a concern in Week 14, completing just 19 passes for 186 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the 28-21 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Williams hasn't completed over 20 passes since Week 8, and his completion percentage of 57.8% ranks 33rd out of qualified quarterbacks. With a lack of volume, Williams will continue to be an inconsistent fantasy option moving forward. The matchup in Week 15 presents problems as well, as the Cleveland Browns have allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. The winter conditions in Chicago are likely to be a factor as well, with single-digit temperatures expected and winds exceeding 25 mph. Williams is a risky start in Week 15, as he presents much more risk in this game than in past matchups.

Caleb Williams' Volume A Concern Entering Tough Matchup

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has continued to lead his team to victory despite less-than-ideal fantasy numbers. In Week 13, Williams completed just 47% of his passes for 154 yards and added a touchdown and an interception, but a strong run game and defensive play helped the Bears get their ninth win in their last ten games. Despite his inconsistent production, the second-year quarterback is averaging 18.9 fantasy points per game, which places him inside the top 10 at his position. His Week 14 matchup against the Green Bay Packers will be his toughest one yet, as they have allowed just the sixth-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Not only that, top target Rome Odunze (foot) has been ruled out, and with how well the Bears have been running the ball, Williams could be in line for another low-volume outing in Week 14. Expectations should be lower for the breakout quarterback, who will need to utilize his rushing skillset to be productive against this tough Packers' defense.

Caleb Williams Aims to Keep Bears' Hot Streak Alive Against Philadelphia

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is hoping to lead the Bears to their ninth win in their last ten games when they face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13. Williams has ascended in his second season, completing 213 of 360 passes for 2568 yards, with 16 touchdowns and four interceptions in 11 games. Williams has also improved his rushing production in 2025, totaling 293 yards and three touchdowns on 56 carries. The 2024 first-overall pick is averaging 19.7 fantasy points per game, which puts him on pace to finish as the QB8 in fantasy this season. Philadelphia's pass defense has been middle of the pack this season, but has improved since acquiring Jaelan Phillips at the trade deadline. The key will be if Williams can play mistake-free football, as fantasy managers can feel comfortable starting him in Week 13.

Caleb Williams Scores Three Times in Victory

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams gave fantasy managers a show during Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was mostly good for Williams, but he did have some bad moments as well. The worst of the day was when Williams fumbled in the end zone which led to a Steelers touchdown. Outside of that, Williams was mostly solid as he completed 19-of-35 passing attempts for 239 yards and three touchdowns in the win. He didn't throw any interceptions and his lone turnover was that fumble in the first half. There have been some bad games, but fantasy managers have mostly been able to trust Williams on a weekly basis. He'll head into a tough matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles next week. Fantasy managers should trust him as a QB2 for that one.

Caleb Williams' Rushing Upside Gives Him QB1 Value Against Steelers

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams continues to do just enough for the Bears this season. While Week 11 wasn't Williams' best showing from a fantasy perspective, he's still in the midst of a breakout season. In 10 games, Williams has completed 194 of 325 passes for 2329 yards, with 13 touchdowns and four interceptions, while adding 272 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. He gets a nice matchup in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have allowed the eighth most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. While Pittsburgh has been better as of late, they have strictly faced pocket quarterbacks, and their only game against a quarterback that is averaging more rushing yards per game than Williams is Justin Fields, who tormented their defense in Week 1. With no inclement weather expected and an ideal matchup, Williams is a low-end QB1 in Week 12.

Caleb Williams Looking to Continue His Stellar Play Against Vikings

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has been a fantasy superstar in November, averaging 31.9 fantasy points in the last two weeks. Not only has Williams been fantastic through the air, but he's been elite on the ground as well. The second-year quarterback is in the midst of a breakout season, ranking as the QB6 on a per-game basis. He faces the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11, a defense that he has had plenty of success against in his career. In three career games against Brian Flores' defense, Williams has averaged 21.9 fantasy points per game and no interceptions. Williams is a QB1 in Week 11 and is a sure-fire start in all fantasy formats, as he looks to continue his hot streak.

Caleb Williams' Two Touchdowns in Fourth Quarter Fuel Comeback Win

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams completed 20 of his 36 pass attempts for 220 passing yards, one passing touchdown, and zero interceptions during Sunday's Week 10 win over the New York Giants. He also had 28 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. Both of Williams' touchdowns came in the fourth quarter, capping off an impressive comeback win in messy weather at home. The 23-year-old did a good job spreading the ball around, and the Bears leaned on the passing attack more than expected, especially with Kyle Monangai and D'Andre Swift both healthy. Williams continues to rank as a solid fantasy QB1 in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Caleb Williams Could be Affected by Strong Winds Against Giants

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is coming off a breakout performance in Week 9, finally snapping a bad two-game stretch with 38.7 fantasy points in a 47-42 win over Cincinnati. Through eight games, the 2024 No. 1 pick has completed 158 of 257 passes for 1,916 yards with 12 touchdowns and four interceptions, while also averaging 26 rushing yards per game and adding three total scores on the ground and through the air. Williams draws a favorable matchup in Week 10 against a New York Giants defense that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. However, projected 25 mph winds could limit the passing game and cap his upside. Williams should still be viewed as a low-end QB1, but weather might keep his ceiling lower than hoped for.

Caleb Williams Scores Four Touchdowns as Bears Win Shootout

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams completed 20 of his 34 pass attempts for 280 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Sunday's Week 9 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He also caught two passes for 22 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown. Furthermore, he rushed the ball five times for an additional 53 yards on the ground. It was an incredible day all around from Williams, who got involved as a passer, runner, and receiver, thanks to some creative play-calling from Ben Johnson. The former No. 1 pick is having a very impressive second pro season, establishing himself as a mid-to-low QB1 in fantasy football. He'll have an opportunity to feast against the 2-7 New York Giants next week.

Caleb Williams has Excellent Matchup in Week 9

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has posted a few dubs in recent weeks, but is looking to turn it around in Week 9. Williams will get a plus-matchup against a struggling Cincinnati Bengals who can't seem to stop anyone. Williams has shown an ability to pick apart bad secondaries considering his four-touchdown performance in Week 3. Since then, Williams has totaled two passing touchdowns with three interceptions, but desperately needs to rebound in Week 9. All the signs are pointing to Williams having success in this game. Fantasy managers should give him the benefit of the doubt and plug him in as a QB1.

Nov 2, 2025 9:01 AM EST

Caleb Williams Set Up For Big Performance At Cincinnati In Week 9

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams could be poised for a strong game in Week 9 against a Cincinnati Bengals defense that has allowed the second-most passing yards in the league, only behind the Dallas Cowboys. Williams wasn't bad in Chicago's Week 8 loss at Baltimore, completing 25 of his 38 pass attempts for 285 yards with no touchdowns and one interception. However, since his four-touchdown outburst against the Cowboys in Week 3, he's completed 60.8% of his passes while averaging 230 passing yards to go with three total touchdowns and two interceptions. The 23-year-old has still been solid for fantasy purposes, ranking as QB15 in points per game, and gets a pristine matchup in Cincinnati on Sunday. Williams is ranked as RotoBaller's QB9 for Week 9.
