Roback signed a contract with the Steelers on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Roback did not spend time on an NFL roster during the 2018 regular season, but now lands on Pittsburgh's 90-man squad. After going undrafted out of Eastern Michigan in 2018, Roback is still looking to make his NFL debut. He'll compete with Joshua Dobbs and Mason Rudolph for a depth role this offseason.

Roback was waived by the Browns on Friday.
Analysis: Roback joined the Browns in May after going undrafted. With Tyrod Taylor and No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield competing for first-team reps, and veteran Drew Stanton all ahead of him on the depth chart he never really had a chance to make the roster. However, he acquired some NFL experience and will now look for a new opportunity.
