Los Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen (shoulder) came into Thursday night's game against the division-rival San Francisco 49ers in Week 15 as questionable with a shoulder injury, but he is active and will play. Fellow tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) will have to wait at least another week to make his season debut, so it will be Allen and Colby Parkinson again splitting the TE work for the Rams against San Francisco. The 23-year-old Allen hasn't played over 50 percent of the offensive snaps since Week 11 and has seen just one target in the last four games, so there's no reason for fantasy managers to trust him in starting lineups, even in the deepest of formats. Parkinson, meanwhile, has only four receptions on five targets for 53 yards and one touchdown in the last four games. Fantasy managers are better off avoiding the Rams' TE situation.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen is expected to get at least one more week as the Rams' primary tight end since Tyler Higbee (knee) was ruled out despite putting in full practices all week. Allen has been stuck in a timeshare with Colby Parkinson and Hunter Long for the past few weeks since a five-catch game in Week 10 against the Dolphins. He has only had one target in his last three games combined and hasn't made much of a fantasy impact. Last week, Parkinson and Long each had just one target since the current offense does not prioritize looks for the position. This week the 23-year-old from Clemson is RotoBaller's TE43.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen should not be started in any formats this weekend when he faces the New Orleans Saints. Since Week 9, Allen has surpassed the former No.1 tight end, Colby Parkinson, on the depth chart. However, while Allen has begun to see the majority of snap opportunities, he has not been able to produce consistently from a fantasy perspective. During this span, Allen caught just six passes and averaged a mere 2.5 PPR points per game. In addition, Allen has not caught a pass in each of his past two games and only saw one target during this span. With Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, Demarcus Robinson, and Kyren Williams seeing most of the opportunities, Allen may only see a handful of targets each week. Facing a New Orleans defense that has allowed the 15th-fewest PPR points to opposing tight ends, Allen should not be started in any formats.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen falls outside the top 24 fantasy options heading into Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles. While Allen impressed with five catches and 34 yards back in Week 10, he was less productive and less involved against the New England Patriots last Sunday, failing to catch a pass. Not only was he out-produced by fellow tight end Colby Parkinson (one catch, 19 yards, one touchdown), but he also saw his snap share drop to 65 percent. Further complicating Allen's status is a tough matchup against the Eagles. Philadelphia has defended tight ends quite well this season, allowing the third-fewest fantasy points and second-fewest touchdowns to the position. Between the presence of Parkinson and a tougher opponent in Philadelphia, Allen should be benched in most fantasy leagues this week.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen has snuck onto the lower end of the fantasy radar after two impressive games. The 23-year-old has seemingly taken over as the Rams' top tight end, replacing 25-year-old Colby Parkinson. Allen has simply looked more talented and promising than Parkinson, catching five of his six targets for 34 yards as recently as last week versus Miami. It's a little too early to scramble and add Allen off the waiver wire, but his increased role and productivity are certainly intriguing. He's worth monitoring going forward as a potential midseason waiver claim.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen converted six targets into five catches for 34 yards during Monday's Week 10 loss to the Miami Dolphins. The 23-year-old has taken on a larger role lately, playing 55 percent of snaps last week. That rate jumped to 87 percent this week. While it's too early to run to the waiver wire and spill FAAB on Allen, he's a name worth monitoring as bye weeks and injuries continue to hit the tight end position.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen (back) is officially active for the Week 4 game on Sunday against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. Allen was listed as questionable for this weekend's game but will suit up as the team looks for their second straight victory on the road in a hostile environment. Even with both receivers Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Puka Nacua (knee) missing another game, Allen is off the fantasy radar as he works behind starting tight end Colby Parkinson. Parkinson himself has been disappointing in recent weeks with both Kupp and Nacua injured, and the Rams offense could struggle on the road against a tough Bears defense in Week 4. Through three games in 2024, Allen has only been targeted once, in the Week 1 loss to the Detroit Lions, and he was unable to haul in the pass. Not much will be expected of him against Chicago.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen (back) has officially been ruled out ahead of the team's Week 3 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. It will be the second consecutive game he has been unable to suit up. With Allen out, expect Colby Parkinson and Hunter Long to handle tight-end duties for Los Angeles. The 23-year-old has appeared in just six snaps this season, failing to haul in his lone target. If the former fifth-round pick can work his way back to health, he can carve out a role in LA's passing attack due to the sheer volume of critical Rams' pieces suffering injuries. The team has already been without Tyler Higbee and will now navigate the foreseeable future sans star wideout Cooper Kupp after losing Puka Nacua to early-season IR. For now, Allen is not a recommended option for fantasy, though he is someone whose return we should monitor.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. The Rams will be on the road for the second week in a row, but they'll do it without their second-year TE. Allen played just 8% of snaps last week, while fellow teammate Colby Parkinson played 88% to Hunter Long's 4%. Parkinson was far and away the biggest benefactor amongst Rams tight ends in Week 1 and should continue to see an elevated snap and target share, with Puka Nacua (knee) set to miss the next four games on IR. Allen performed well late last season while filling in for Tyler Higbee (knee) and looked poised to take on a more significant role in 2024. However, he'll have to wait at least one more week to register his first catch of the campaign. He can be left on waiver wires for now.
