Jacob Eason: Jacob Eason Joining Giants Roster

Free agent quarterback Jacob Eason is signing with the New York Giants on Tuesday. The Giants are without Daniel Jones (knee) for the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL, and Tyrod Taylor (ribs) was recently placed on Injured Reserve and could be out for the season, too. Tommy Devito has played in each of their last two games in relief of Jones and Taylor, completing just 17 passes for 174 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Eason spent time with the Colts, Seahawks, Panthers, and 49ers during his first three years in the NFL. Although he's thrown just ten passes in the regular season, he could make his way to the starting quarterback role given the shaky situation the G-Men are facing.
