Joe Milton III: Joe Milton III Being Signed by Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles are signing quarterback Joe Milton III off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad, according to Jordan Schultz. Philadelphia is adding depth at the position with Jalen Hurts (calf) ruled out for Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Carolina Panthers due to a superficial blood clot. Tanner McKee is expected to start in Hurts' absence, with rookie Cole Payton also on the roster.
