Williams-Lambert caught both his targets for 17 yards in Friday's preseason game against the Giants.
Analysis: Williams Lambert made a catch in each of the final two quarters, seeing 19 offensive snaps and seven on special teams. He seems to be fully over the hamstring issue that bothered him earlier and is back in the mix for a roster spot at wide receiver.
Williams-Lambert left Saturday's practice early with a hamstring injury, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Analysis: A hamstring injury for Williams-Lambert could prove quite costly as he simply battles for a roster spot at wide receiver, positioned well below the primary quartet of Allen Robinson, Anthony Miller (shoulder), Taylor Gabriel and Cordarrelle Patterson.
