The Packers have designated Ento (undisclosed) for a return from IR, Olivia Reiner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Analysis: Ento will now be eligible for a 21-day practice window, during which time the Packers can evaluate him for a return to the active roster. The 24-year-old cornerback is still looking for a chance to make his NFL debut.
The Packers placed Ento (undisclosed) on injured reserve Monday.
Analysis: Ento made the Packers' final roster but was promptly placed on IR. He'll be required to miss at least three weeks before returning to practice, but it's tough to pin down a timeline since we don't know the nature of his injury.
Ento (hamstring) inked a contract with the Packers on Tuesday.
Analysis: Ento had been dealing with a hamstring injury that he suffered in training camp last season, but ended the year on the Packers' practice squad. The 24-year-old has no regular-season NFL experience to his name and will try to make the roster as a depth secondary option.
Ento missed Sunday's practice with a hamstring injury, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Analysis: Ento reportedly sustained the injury in Saturday's practice. It's unclear how much longer it'll keep him sidelined. If the 23-year-old can stick to Green Bay's roster, he would figure to fit into a depth role in the secondary.
