Comes up empty in finale

Westbrook-Ikhine failed to corral his lone target in Saturday's 20-16 loss to the Jaguars.

Analysis: Despite playing at least 60 percent of the snaps on offense for the 16th time in his 17 appearances on the season, Westbrook-Ikhine once again failed to deliver a useful line for fantasy purposes. The run-heavy Tennessee offense wasn't especially conducive for any of the Titans' pass catchers to emerge as consistently reliable options in fantasy lineups, but Westbrook-Ikhine's production still notably lagged behind fellow wideouts Robert Woods and Treylon Burks and tight ends Chigoziem Okonkwo and Austin Hooper. The third-year receiver from Indiana finished the 2022 campaign with 25 catches for 397 yards and three touchdowns on 50 targets, with 30 percent of his receiving yardage and two of his scores coming in a Week 10 win over Denver.

Limited to four yards in loss

Westbrook-Ikhine recorded one reception on three targets for four yards in Thursday's 27-13 loss to the Cowboys.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine maintained a significant role in the Titans' offense from a snaps perspective, though he couldn't make an impact on the stat sheet. His lone catch of the day came midway through the second quarter. Westbrook-Ikhine now has under 25 receiving yards in five consecutive games.

Tallies 23 yards in loss

Westbrook-Ikhine recorded two catches on three targets for 23 yards in Saturday's 19-14 loss to the Texans.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine finished third on the team with three targets, an indication of Tennessee's preference to run its offense primarily on the ground. He did the majority of his damage on a 14-yard catch late in the third quarter, though it was his fourth consecutive game with under 25 receiving yards. The passing volume for all Titans receivers has been limited this season, and that is likely to only worsen with Malik Willis under center for the final two contests.

No catches in Week 15

Westbrook-Ikhine did not record a catch on two targets in Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Chargers.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine paced Titans' pass catchers with 52 snaps (84 percent), but he recorded only two targets for the third time in his last five games. The performance was also the fifth game of the campaign that Westbrook-Ikhine failed to tally a catch.

Scores in loss

Westbrook-Ikhine recorded three receptions on eight targets for 23 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Jaguars.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine led the team with eight targets but was buried in terms of production. He redeemed his day with a two-yard touchdown catch midway through the fourth quarter with the Titans down three scores. Though Westbrook-Ikhine has proven capable of spike performances at various points in the season, he's recorded under 20 yards in seven of 13 games.

Limited to one catch against Eagles

Westbrook-Ikhine recorded one reception on two targets for four yards in Sunday's 35-10 loss to the Eagles.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine had seen his involvement in the Tennessee offense steadily ticking up in recent weeks. However, that came to a halt Sunday against the Eagles when he saw his fewest targets since Week 9. Westbrook-Ikhine will continue to have volatile production, which will largely be dependent on whether the Titans' offense will be forced to throw in a given matchup.

Four catches in loss to Bengals

Westbrook-Ikhine recorded four catches on six targets for 58 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Bengals.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine continued his trend of being more involved in the Tennessee offense, as he managed multiple receptions in his third straight game after managing that feat only twice in his first eight matchups. He managed a pair of splash plays against the Bengals, tallying gains of 25 and 20 yards. Despite his positive play of late, Westbrook-Ikhine has still topped 50 receiving yards only three times in the campaign.

Two catches against Packers

Westbrook-Ikhine tallied two catches on two targets for 28 yards in Thursday's 27-17 win over the Packers.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine entered the game with inconsistent involvement in Tennessee's offense. The return of Treylon Burks pushed Westbrook-Ikhine only further down the depth chart. He's now seen two or fewer targets in four of his last five games and topped 30 yards only once in the same span.

Shows off big-play ability

Westbrook-Ikhine recorded five receptions on eight targets for 119 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 17-10 win over the Broncos.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine entered Sunday's game having seen only 15 targets across eight games, so his eight targets were a significant surprise. He didn't waste the opportunity, tallying nine and 63-yard touchdowns -- the latter of which he ran uncovered down the left sideline. The Broncos were one of the few teams that have proven capable of slowing Derrick Henry, which led to increased opportunity for Tennessee's pass catchers though that isn't likely to continue moving forward.

Nov 13, 2022 9:21 PM EST

Minimally involved again

Westbrook-Ikhine did not record a catch on his only target in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Chiefs.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine saw his lone target of the game on a deep pass early in the fourth quarter, but he was unable to haul it in. He's had a quiet season, posting only seven receptions for 138 yards in eight games. Things have only worsened with Malik Willis under center, as Westbrook-Ikhine has managed only one target combined between his last two matchups.

Nov 7, 2022 5:04 PM EST

Not targeted against Texans

Westbrook-Ikhine was not targeted in Sunday's 17-10 win over the Texans.

Analysis: The Titans entered Sunday's game as a run-heavy offense, but they attempted only 10 passes with Malik Willis under center against the Texans. No receiver saw more than two targets, and Westbrook-Ikhine saw zero targets for the second time in his last three games. He now has only seven receptions for 138 yards in seven games on the season.

Oct 31, 2022 6:17 PM EST

No catches against Colts

Westbrook-Ikhine recorded no catches on two targets in Sunday's 19-10 win over the Colts.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine was on the field for 75 percent of the team's offensive snaps, but Ryan Tannehill spread his 20 pass attempts between 10 different pass catchers. As a result, Westbrook-Ikhine was held without a catch for the second time this season and for the second time in his last three games. Through six contests on the campaign, Westbrook-Ikhine has managed only seven receptions for 138 yards.

Makes 61-yard catch

Westbrook-Ikhine recorded two receptions on three targets for 72 yards in Sunday's 21-17 win over the Commanders.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine finished third on the team and second among wide receivers Sunday. He provided a needed offensive spark for the team with a 61-yard reception late in the third quarter that helped set up the game-winning touchdown. Despite that, Westbrook-Ikhine has yet to top three catches in a game this season and had only 66 total receiving yards prior to Sunday's effort.

Oct 9, 2022 8:27 PM EST

Not targeted in win

Westbrook-Ikhine did not record any stats in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Colts.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine tied for the second-most snaps amongst the Titans' wide receiver corps, but he failed to command any targets. That could change if Treylon Burks remains sidelined by turf toe, though Ryan Tannehill has regularly targeted his backs and tight ends in the short areas of the field to this point in the season. Furthermore, the Titans' offense will continue to run through Derrick Henry on the ground.

Oct 3, 2022 7:34 PM EST

Makes most of three targets

Westbrook-Ikhine recorded three receptions on three targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 24-22 win over the Raiders.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine was on the field for the third-most snaps among the Titans' wide receiver corps, behind both Robert Woods and Treylon Burks. However, Westbrook-Ikhine finished with more targets, receptions and yards than Burks, highlighted by two catches of 15 yards to turn in his best performance of the season. Through three games, Westbrook-Ikhine has five receptions for 66 yards.

Sep 26, 2022 5:40 PM EST

Inefficient on four targets

Westbrook-Ikhine recorded one catch on four targets for 13 yards in Monday's 41-7 loss to the Bills.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine finished tied for third on the team in targets but didn't have much to show for it. The Titans offense hasn't looked sharp overall in the first two weeks of the season, but Westbrook-Ikhine has only two catches for 26 yards on the season. He could also be in danger of losing snaps and targets to rookies Kyle Philips and Treylon Burks.

Sep 20, 2022 5:35 PM EST

Quiet in home opener

Westbrook-Ikhine caught one of two targets for 13 yards during Sunday's 21-20 loss against the Giants.

Analysis: On a day where quarterback Ryan Tannehill completed 20 passes to nine different skill players, the 6-foot-2, 211-pound receiver failed to make much of an impact despite playing the second-most offensive snaps of all Tennessee WRs (68%). With the team's heavy emphasis on their rushing attack, Westbrook-Ikhine's ceiling may be limited throughout this season. The 25-year-old hopes to find more success in the stat sheet in Week 2 when the Titans travel to Buffalo next Monday night.

Could contribute early on

Westbrook-Ikhine is listed as a starter alongside Robert Woods on the Titans' unofficial posted depth chart, Jim Wyatt of the Team's official sitereports.

Analysis: Next up are rookies Treylon Burks and Kyle Philips, with Burks -- as a 2022 first-rounder -- expected to see a key role in the Titans' offense this coming season, a notion reflected in his average fantasy draft position, which is well ahead of Westbrook-Ikhine's. That said, it's possible that the team eases Burks into the mix out of the gate to some degree, in which case Westbrook-Ikhine could carve out some deep league utility. Either way, Tennessee's snap counts at the wideout position in the team's season opener against the Giants will be worth tracking in order see to how involved Westbrook-Ikhine is in Week 1 relative to Burks.

One grab in preseason win

Westbrook-Ikhine brought in one of two targets for 21 yards in the Titans' 13-3 preseason win over the Buccaneers on Saturday night.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine logged the first target of the game and made good use of it, recording his 21-yard gain in connection with rookie quarterback Malik Willis. The 25-year-old saw a nice boost in production in 2021 thanks to an increase to opportunities due to injuries on the Titans' receiving corps, and he figures to enjoy another solid role this coming season as the likely No. 3 wideout once Robert Woods (knee) and Treylon Burks (lower leg) are at full health.

Listed atop depth chart

Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill said Monday that he has a lot of confidence in Westbrook-Ikhine, who is listed as a starter on the team's initial preseason depth chart, AtoZ Sports Nashville reports.

Analysis: Tannehill specifically mentioned Westbrook-Ikhine's knowledge of the offense, which allows him to fill in at any position at a moment's notice. That's part of why the 2020 UDFA has managed to stick around on the Tennessee roster, going on three years now, along with some slick route-running by the standards of a 6-foot-2, 215-pound receiver. After starting seven of 16 games last year and posting a 48-476-4 receiving line, Westbrook-Ikhine has a chance to enter Week 1 as a starter this year, depending on the progress of first-round pick Treylon Burks and veteran Robert Woods (ACL). The initial preseason depth chart lists Woods as the other starter, while reports out of camp suggest rookie fifth-rounder Kyle Philips is getting some first-team work and has a shot at the slot role (Tennessee's depth chart lists only two WRs, and two TEs).
