Switzer (foot) received a tryout with the Panthers on Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Switzer signed a one-year deal with the Browns last offseason, but he suffered a foot injury during training camp, which required surgery, and he never saw the field. Switzer last played in 2019 with the Steelers, appearing in nine games and making eight catches on 11 targets for 27 yards. The 2017 fourth-round selection will continue working to earn a shot at getting back on track somewhere next season.
