The Seahawks signed Turner to their practice squad Wednesday, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Analysis: The undrafted rookie out of Tarleton State spent the summer with the Cardinals and Seahawks but couldn't make either roster. With Rashaad Penny (knee) out for the season, Turner is coming back to learn the system in case Chris Carson, C.J. Prosise or Travis Homer suffer an injury.
Turner was waived by Seattle on Saturday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Analysis: Turner was signed by the Seahawks during training camp and looked impressive during his first preseason action, leading the team with 42 rushing yards on 13 carries. If he goes unclaimed in the waiver process he'll become a free agent.
Turner recorded 42 yards on 13 rushes and eight yards on one reception in Thursday's preseason win over the Broncos.
Analysis: Turner signed with the Seahawks shortly before Thursday's game and wound up leading the team in rushing. His solid performance could give him a chance at a depth running back role entering the regular season or a practice squad spot.
The Cardinals waived Turner on Friday.
Analysis: Turner originally signed with Arizona as an undrafted free agent in late April. The Tarleton State product rushed 228 times for 1,469 yards and 22 touchdowns over 13 contests as a senior in 2018.
