Aaron Jones Trending Toward Playing, May Be On A Snap Count

Thursday, September 28, 10:13 AM

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (hamstring) is expected to return to the lineup on Thursday Night Football against the Detroit Lions. Jones suffered the injury on a long touchdown catch in Week 1, which forced him to the sideline for Weeks 2 and 3. According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Packers will be cautious with both Jones and wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) in their returns. If Jones plays as expected, the veteran ball carrier will likely be on a snap count. That, coupled with a matchup against a strong Detroit run defense, makes Jones a low-end RB2 for the week.

Garrett Wilson Sees Nine Targets In Week 3 Loss

Sunday, September 24, 8:39 PM

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson secured five of his nine targets for 48 yards in a 15-10 loss to the New England Patriots. Wilson was once again the clear favorite target for quarterback Zach Wilson, but his fantasy output was disappointing given the volume of opportunities he received. Although Wilson is a special talent, trusting any weapons on New York's offense is difficult right now. The 23-year-old will be a WR3 or flex option for a Week 4 bout with the Kansas City Chiefs.
