Alvin Kamara Gets in Limited Practice Session

Wednesday, October 29, 9:41 PM

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (ankle) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. Kamara played a season-low 51 percent of the offensive snaps during last week's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's unclear if that was because the game was a blowout or because Kamara was battling this ankle issue. It doesn't sound like something that is going to cause Kamara to sit out in Week 9. However, fantasy managers should check back on Thursday and Friday for more updates. Devin Neal (ankle) would be asked to take over as the lead back if Kamara sits out against the Los Angeles Rams this weekend.

Bryce Young News

Bryce Young Logs Second Straight Full Practice on Thursday

Thursday, October 30, 4:08 PM

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young (ankle) practiced in full for the second consecutive day on Thursday as he battles an ankle injury that sidelined him in Week 8. Young appears to be trending towards making his return in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers, but the team has not officially announced his status. Panthers backup quarterback Andy Dalton (thumb) was limited in practice on Thursday due to a thumb injury, so Young may actually be the team's healthiest option. Across seven games in 2025, Young has completed 61.6% of his pass attempts for 1,288 yards, 11 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Even if he's active, Young should likely be avoided by fantasy managers as he heads into a difficult Week 9 matchup against Green Bay.
