Buccaneers Re-Sign Cade Otton

Monday, March 9, 9:01 AM

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are re-signing tight end Cade Otton to an undisclosed deal on Monday, sources told Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. Otton will return to Tampa for a fifth season after catching 207 of his 300 targets for 2,018 yards and 11 touchdowns in 63 games (58 starts) in his first four years in the NFL. The 26-year-old former fourth-round selection in 2022 out of Washington tied his career-high with 59 receptions in 2025 for 572 yards, but he found the end zone just once in 16 starts. He hasn't been much more than a matchup-based TE2 streamer for fantasy football purposes, although Otton could see a boost in targets from quarterback Baker Mayfield if veteran receiver Mike Evans leaves in free agency this offseason. Still, Otton's TE25 finish in half-PPR scoring last year doesn't exactly give much hope for the future when the Bucs were decimated by injuries at WR in 2025.

Elijah Arroyo News

Elijah Arroyo Makes His Return for Super Bowl LX

Sunday, February 8, 12:58 PM

Seattle Seahawks rookie tight end Elijah Arroyo is officially active for Super Bowl LX after being a healthy scratch for the NFC Championship Game. The second-round pick out of Miami had missed the final four games of the regular season and the Seahawks' Divisional Round win over the 49ers with a knee injury that landed him on Injured Reserve. He was activated before Seattle's matchup with the Rams but was ultimately made a healthy scratch after carrying no injury designation into the game. He will now make his first appearance since a Week 14 win over the Falcons, in which he was targeted once before exiting early. Since catching his lone touchdown of the season in Week 9, Arroyo has caught only two of six targets for 10 yards across his last five games. Super Bowl heroes come in all shapes and sizes, but it would be surprising if Arroyo makes a meaningful impact on Sunday.
