Minnesota Vikings quarterback Carson Wentz (left shoulder) "could be limited in practice this week," according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The Vikings are currently on their bye week but will return to practice within the next few days ahead of their Week 7 clash against the Philadelphia Eagles. Minnesota has several quarterback injuries to monitor, as J.J. McCarthy (ankle) has been sidelined for three games, and now Wentz, his backup, could be at risk of missing time. The exact timetables for both McCarthy and Wentz are unclear, but the team's Wednesday injury reports should provide more clarity on their respective statuses. There's a small but nonzero chance that both McCarthy and Wentz miss Week 7, which would leave Max Brosmer in line to start at quarterback.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Gardner Minshew completed seven of nine passes (78%) for 70 yards and a touchdown in the 16-33 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Minshew found Robert Tonyan in the back of the endzone on a rollout for an easy score. It was a nice sign to see for Chiefs fans, knowing they have a capable backup behind Patrick Mahomes. That said, Minshew will not have any fantasy value this season unless Mahomes gets injured.
