Darnell Mooney Misses Friday's Practice

Friday, October 10, 6:37 PM

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney (hamstring) was unable to practice on Friday. Mooney made an early exit during the Week 4 matchup versus the Washington Commanders. The 27-year-old was off last week due to a bye, but still remains uncertain to play in the Monday night matchup against the Buffalo Bills. He was a non-participant for the second straight day on Friday. He hasn't been ruled out yet, but fantasy managers should prepare to be without Mooney in Week 6. Drake London hauled in eight receptions for 110 yards with a touchdown in Week 4. He figures to be the primary focal point on offense without Mooney. Also, Kyle Pitts Sr. and Casey Washington should have increased roles.

Jaylen Waddle Stepping Up as WR1

Friday, October 10, 8:47 PM

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle will have an opportunity to step up as the team's top receiver the rest of the season after Tyreek Hill (knee) was lost for the season in Week 4. In Week 5, Waddle delivered a big game, hauling in six of his nine targets for 110 yards and a touchdown against the Panthers. He set season highs in catches, targets, and yards, while scoring his third touchdown in the last four weeks. Waddle and the Dolphins will look to bounce back from last week's loss to Carolina, as they host the Chargers. The Chargers' defense has done a good job against receivers this season, but Deebo Samuel did light them up for eight catches, 96 yards, and a touchdown last week. Waddle should be primed for another high-volume game and is the WR17 in RotoBaller's Week 6 rankings.
