David Njoku Finds The End Zone In Week 8

Sunday, October 27, 8:54 PM

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku caught five of his seven targets for 61 yards and a touchdown in a 29-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8. Njoku finished fourth on the Browns in receiving yards while hauling in a 23-yard touchdown pass from Jameis Winston in the third quarter, his second touchdown catch over his past two games. The veteran tight end is looking like a top option at the position moving forward with the Cleveland offense all of a sudden looking competent with Winston under center. Treat Njoku as a high-end TE1 heading into Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Gibbs' first score came on a 45-yard run early in the second quarter, breaking free off the right side. He added a second touchdown just before halftime, an eight-yard run that helped the Lions build their lead.
