Derrick Henry Back to RB1 Territory in Week 9

Thursday, October 30, 9:20 AM

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry gave fantasy managers what they've all been waiting for in the Week 8 win over the Chicago Bears. He registered his first finish as an RB1 since Week 1 and found the end zone twice in the process. Now, Lamar Jackson returns to the lineup as the Ravens finally get healthier heading into a short week matchup against the Miami Dolphins. The impact of Patrick Ricard back on the field was evident in Week 8, but having Ricard and Jackson back should start to open up some holes in the defense for Henry. Plus, the Dolphins are ranked 28th against opposing backfields, allowing an average of 27.44 fantasy points per matchup. Look for Henry to bring back mid-to-high-level RB1 value.

Cameron Ward News

Cameron Ward Avoidable for Week 8

Friday, October 24, 9:14 PM

Tennessee Titans quarterback Cameron Ward has been playing better lately, but is still off to a slow start to his rookie campaign. Over the last three games, Ward has thrown for over 220 yards in each of those contests. The biggest problem is that Ward has thrown an interception in each of the last five contests. The 23-year-old is also missing his top wide receiver in Calvin Ridley (hamstring) again this weekend. It's hard to imagine Ward having much success against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8. Due to bye weeks, fantasy managers might have no choice but to start Ward. However, he should be viewed as a low-end option.
