Wright got off to a slow start to the year after suffering a leg injury that caused him to miss time. However, he gradually worked his way past fellow Dolphins back Ollie Gordon II on the depth chart and finished the year as Miami's primary RB2 behind De'Von Achane. The Dolphins did not add any notable competition to the running back room in the 2026 draft, but they did add offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor with a first-round pick. As long as Achane is in Miami, Wright's path to consistent fantasy production is largely blocked.
