Jonathan Taylor Appears Ready To Return

Friday, September 29, 9:45 AM

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) appears ready to return from the PUP list, according to ESPN's Stephen Holder. The 24-year-old was placed on the PUP list ahead of Week 1 due to an ankle issue. He reportedly looks great and has been moving around well lately. It certainly appears that Taylor is ready to get back on the field. He won't be eligible to return until Week 5, so that means at least one more week of Zack Moss as the starter. However, Taylor also requested a trade before being placed on the PUP list. It's unclear if he has any intentions of suiting up for the Colts again. Taylor physically appears ready to play, but who knows when he'll actually suit up again.

Isiah Pacheco Ready To Roll For Week 4

Saturday, September 30, 12:46 AM

Running back Isiah Pacheco (abdomen) has been given the go-ahead to play in the Kansas City Chiefs' Week 4 game against the New York Jets. In Week 3 against the Bears, the back suffered an abdomen injury but was able to stay in that game and practice in full all week long. In spite of the injury, and a season-low 42% snap share, he had his most productive game of the season against Chicago, finishing with 15 carries for 62 yards and a touchdown and adding 16 more yards on his two receptions. Pacheco will still be splitting backfield reps with Jerome McKinnon and Clyde Edwards-Helaire against the Jets who have managed to prevent a rushing touchdown through the first three weeks of the season. Pacheco can again be considered a low-end RB2 in Week 4.
